Returns the exponential value of a number (e raised to the given power).

• <x>: The exponent.

Returns the exponential value as a double precision value.

Raise e to the power of 1.

Returns 2.71828182845905.

Raising e to the power of 0 returns 1.

1SELECT exp(0) AS result;

Returns 1.
