WorkOrderSource

Represents the link between a work order and its originating trigger, such as an outage, incident, or problem. This junction object provides traceability between technical execution (work orders) and the events that prompt them, so you can report on effort spent on reactive maintenance versus proactive projects. This object is available in API version 68.0 and later.

Fields

Name

  • Type: string
  • Properties: Autonumber, Defaulted on create, Filter, idLookup, Sort
  • Description: The name of the work order source.

SourceId

  • Type: reference
  • Properties: Create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update
  • Description: The ID of the source for which the work order is created to mitigate the issue. This field is a polymorphic relationship field.
  • Relationship Name: Source
  • Refers To: Incident, Problem, ServiceOutage

WorkOrderId

  • Description: The ID of the work order for which the related Items are created. This field is a relationship field.
