Removing or Resetting a User’s Time-Based Token Device or App

Only one time-based token can be stored on a user’s account. The user must use the authenticator app on the same device to retrieve the token.

For example, if a user lost the mobile device used to add a time-based token, the current configuration must be removed from the user’s settings before adding a replacement device.

Users and administrators can remove the user’s existing configuration.

From the user’s Advanced User Details page in Salesforce, find Time-Based Token and click Remove.
