Set Up a Microsoft OneNote Unstructured Connection

Set up the Microsoft OneNote unstructured connection to start the flow of data into Data 360.

User Permissions Needed
To create a connection:	System Admin profile or Data Cloud Architect permission set

Before you begin:

Complete the Prepare Your Microsoft OneNote Unstructured Connection steps to gather the necessary Microsoft Azure app credentials.
Verify that your admin has enabled firewalls on the system you want Data 360 to connect to by including these IP addresses to your allowlists.

In Data Cloud, click Setup, and select Data Cloud Setup.
Under External Integrations, select Other Connectors.
Click New.
On the Source tab, search for and select the Microsoft OneNote Unstructured Data connector. Click Next.
Enter a Connection Name and Connection API Name.
In the Authentication Details section, select how Data 360 authenticates to Microsoft OneNote.
- Named Credentials: Reference the named credential that you created earlier. See Named Credentials.
- Auth Provider: Reference an authentication provider that authenticates Salesforce with an external service, such as an OpenID Connect provider. See OAuth based authentication.
- External Auth Identity Provider: Reference an external auth identity provider that manages outbound OAuth 2.0 authentication. It works with external credentials and named credentials to authenticate Salesforce with external APIs. See External Credentials.
Click Test Connection to verify the setup.
After the connection is successfully established, click Save.

After the connector details are accepted, the connection is created and listed under Connectors. You can now create unstructured data lake objects (UDLOs).
