Empower your AI assistant with B2C Commerce knowledge and practical workflows. Agent Skills in the Agentic B2C Developer Toolkit cover storefront development, CLI operations, and incident investigation for administrators and operators.
| Collection | What it helps your assistant do |
|---|---|
b2c | Build controllers, ISML templates, forms, services, Custom APIs, Page Designer components, and custom job steps. |
b2c-cli | Use the B2C CLI for deployments, jobs, site archives, sandboxes, SLAS, eCDN, Managed Runtime, and logs. |
storefront-next | Build Storefront Next routes and components, work with Page Designer, and deploy storefronts. |
b2c-ops | Investigate incidents and failed orders, gather evidence, and prepare an actionable handoff. |
For an assistant that can both provide guidance and work with your B2C Commerce environment, install the B2C MCP. It includes these collections and makes their guidance available through MCP tools. No need to separately install the skills plugins.
You can also install collections as native skills in your assistant, alongside the MCP or on their own. This is useful when you want development guidance without a server connection, or prefer to use the CLI for operations.
Install the collections you need through your assistant’s plugin support. For example, in Claude Code:
1claude plugin marketplace add SalesforceCommerceCloud/b2c-developer-tooling
2claude plugin install b2c@b2c-developer-tooling --scope project
3claude plugin install b2c-cli@b2c-developer-tooling --scope project
4# Optional: install storefront-next or b2c-ops from the same marketplace. The plugins use the open Agent Plugins standard; individual skills follow the Agent Skills format. See Agent Skills installation for Codex, VS Code, other assistants, and manual installation. If your assistant uses CLI commands, it also needs access to the B2C CLI and configuration.
Manually installed skills don’t auto-update. Refresh your local copies to receive new guidance, or use your assistant’s plugin update mechanism.
Note
Describe the outcome you want and identify the project or instance to use:
Help me create a Custom API for loyalty information and check its registration on my sandbox.
Add logging to my checkout controller using B2C Commerce conventions.
Investigate failed orders from the last hour. Gather evidence and recommend next steps before making changes.
Skills guide your assistant’s work. They don’t grant access to an instance. The tools your assistant uses still require the appropriate credentials and permissions. See Configuration and Authentication.
