DataDetectPolicy (Beta)

Represents a set of parameters that specifies the types of sensitive data to be searched for in a data scan. DataDetect scan policies can also apply filters to a data scan, and select what specific objects and fields are to be scanned. This object is available in API version 60.0 and later.

Data Detect is a pilot or beta service that is subject to the Beta Services Terms at Agreements - Salesforce.com or a written Unified Pilot Agreement if executed by Customer, and applicable terms in the Product Terms Directory. Use of this pilot or beta service is at the Customer's sole discretion.

Note

To opt in for beta, contact your Salesforce account executive. After the org permission is enabled, users can access the Data Detect app from the App launcher.

Fields

Field	Details
Description	Type string Properties Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Sort, Update Description Description of the scan policy.
EndTime	Type dateTime Properties Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update Description Time and date when the data scan completes.
ExclusionCriteriaId	Type reference Properties Create, Filter, Group, Sort, Update Description ID of the criteria to be excluded from the scan policy. This field is a relationship field. Relationship Name ExclusionCriteria Relationship Type Lookup Refers To ExclusionCriteria
ScanType	Type picklist Properties Create, Filter, Group, Nillable, Restricted picklist, Sort, Update Description Designates whether the data scan type is `AIInference` or `PatternMatching`. The default value is `PatternMatching`.
StartTime	Type dateTime Properties Create, Filter, Nillable, Sort, Update Description Time and date when the data scan begins. Data scans can start anytime within a 30-day window from the current date.
