To create a new organization in the Environment Hub:
- On the Environment Hub, click Create Organization.
- From the pulldown menu, choose the type of organization you want to create. Possible choices are: Development, Test, and Release.
- On the page that appears, enter the organization’s name and My Domain, as well as the name, user name, and email address of the admin user. If you’re creating a test organization, you must also specify either its edition or a Trialforce template ID.
- Click Create.
Here’s a comparison of the different types of organizations
used for development.
- Development organization — a standard Developer Edition (DE) organization.
- Release organization — A DE organization used for creating and uploading a managed package.
- Test organization — a trial organization created for test and demonstration purposes, similar to an organization created from www.salesforce.com/trial. Partners can specify a Trialforce template for creating trial organizations. This enables them to configure and test exactly how their prospects experience the trial.
